Little Red Riding Hood (Robot Voices): Sorry this is not a complete retelling, but a sound file linked to a blog post on my teaching and learning site, entitled robot voices. If you like what you hear though and were disappointed not to find the complete story let me know and I'll upload it for your delight. Leave me a comment and we'll see where it goes.

On The Way Home: Students Performing a Playscript Innovating on a familiar story
Jill Murphy's, On the Way Home, is one of my all time favourite picture books, and this episode of the podcast, was made by my y3 students having innovated on the story to create their own playscripts. For more about how we did this some background notes/outline planning can be found on my teaching and learning blog. This is the outcome of two weeks of work during literacy hours on speech and how it can be presented in text. The writing outcome was from the outset to be a podcast, though as I hope you will be able to recognise from the play, applying the five p's, "plan, prepare, perform, produce and publish," were key to the quality and ownership the students brought to the outcome. This episode was recorded in Softease Podium, using the chapter tool to generate the play. The children rehearsed their section of dialogue in pairs before performing it. The outcome presented today I feel is an amazing achievement for them and I am incredibly proud of what they have done. Well done Y3.
